Arutz HaYeladim (Hebrew: ערוץ הילדים, The Kids' Channel) is a very popular Israeli TV channel made just for young people. It used to be known as Arutz Shesh (meaning "Channel 6"). This channel was one of the first cable TV channels to start in Israel, launching way back in November 1989. It is currently owned by a company called RGE, and before that, it was owned by NOGA Communications. Arutz HaYeladim has been a big part of childhood for many Israeli kids for decades.
