Early Life and Career Beginnings

Yael Bar Zohar was born on January 29, 1980, in Tel Aviv, Israel. She grew up in a Jewish family. Her father, Menachem Bar Zohar, was born in Poland and moved to Israel. Her mother, Ella Fogel-Bar Zohar, was born in Israel. Yael also has an older sister named Michal.

When she was 19, Yael joined the Israel Defense Forces. She was recognized as an "excellent artist" and served for about a year.

Starting Her Entertainment Journey

Yael began her career in modeling at a young age. She first modeled swimwear and filmed her first commercial when she was just 15 years old. Soon after, she got a role in a popular Israeli soap opera called Ramat Aviv Gimmel. This show helped her become very famous.
