The X's is an American animated TV show created by Carlos Ramos for Nickelodeon. It's all about a family of secret agents who have to keep their spy lives a secret from everyone else. But, it's often hard for them to hide who they really are! The show had one season with 20 episodes, airing from November 25, 2005, to November 25, 2006. Even though some people compared it to The Incredibles and Alias, the creator, Carlos Ramos, said he got ideas from James Bond movies, The Avengers comics, and the 1960s TV show Get Smart.

What is The X's About?

The X's family works for a secret organization called SUPERIOR. The main characters are Tucker and Trudy X, along with their daughter Tuesday, and their younger son Truman. They have tons of cool spy gadgets to help them! Their main enemies are from an organization called S.N.A.F.U. (which stands for Society of Nefarious and Felonious Undertakings). S.N.A.F.U. is always trying to cause trouble and take over the world, but the X's are there to stop them.

Meet the Characters of The X's

The SUPERIOR Spy Team

  • Tucker X (voiced by Patrick Warburton) – Tucker is the dad and the leader of the X's family. He's great at hand-to-hand combat, like a spy from the 1960s. He's a bit like James Bond or Maxwell Smart. Even though he's a skilled spy, he sometimes forgets simple things, like his own name! Tucker is also an amazing cook and can be very strict. He is 40 years old.
  • Trudy X (voiced by Wendie Malick) – Trudy is the mom and the second-in-command of the X's. She's a combat expert, trained in martial arts and fighting. However, she's a really bad cook! Trudy is also a fantastic tennis player. She's a very caring and protective mom to Tuesday and Truman. Trudy is 38 years old.
  • Tuesday X (voiced by Lynsey Bartilson) – Tuesday is Tucker and Trudy's teenage daughter. She's the one who investigates missions. Tuesday is the most "normal" member of the family, even with her punk-rock style and changing hair colors. She understands how the "real world" works better than her family. Tuesday is tough like her mom and great at fighting. She can get annoyed with her brother Truman, but she's a caring sister. Tuesday is 16 years old.
  • Truman X (voiced by Jansen Panettiere) – Truman is Tucker and Trudy's son and the family's technology expert. He's the smartest of all the X's. His science experiments often cause "meltdowns," so the local clean-up crew knows the X's well! Truman can sometimes be a bit of a troublemaker. He is 10 years old.
  • Rex X (vocal effects by Dee Bradley Baker) – Rex is Truman's dog. Truman got him for his 9th birthday. Rex was originally controlled by a villain named Sasquatch, but Truman's kindness broke the mind control. Rex then became an honorary member of SUPERIOR.
  • Home Base (voiced by Stephen Root) – Home Base is the super-smart computer that runs the X's house. It helps the X's with missions, gives advice, and acts as a contact for SUPERIOR. Home Base is shaped like an "X" when seen from above. It's a bit like HAL 9000 from the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey".
  • The Y's – The Y's are another family of spies, and they are rivals to the X's. They are even better spies! They once tried to take over the X's job as SUPERIOR agents. They also have a super-smart house computer, which is even more advanced than Home Base.
    • Steven Y (voiced by Ronobir Lahiri) – Similar to Tucker.
    • Sasha Y (voiced by Susan Pari) – Similar to Trudy.
    • Seven Y (voiced by Soleil Moon Frye) – Similar to Tuesday.
    • Scout Y (voiced by Laura Marano) – Similar to Truman, but she's a girl.
  • The Z's – This spy family was destroyed by the Y's. Truman thought it was an accident, but the Y's hinted they were responsible.

The S.N.A.F.U. Villains

  • Glowface (voiced by Chris Hardwick) – Glowface is the X's main enemy and the leader of S.N.A.F.U. His head is inside a glass globe with electricity sparking around it. He wears a special suit to control his powers. Glowface often comes up with silly plans to get rid of the X's. He thinks he's a huge threat, but he's not very smart or mature. He's a bit like Dr. Evil from Austin Powers. Glowface is allergic to zucchini and loves building model train sets, just like Tucker.
  • Lorenzo Suave (voiced by Tom Kane) – Lorenzo is Glowface's right-hand man and butler in S.N.A.F.U. He's very stylish, with a mustache, goatee, a scar, an eyepatch, and a monocle! Lorenzo is much smarter than Glowface and often has to guide him to complete their plans. He's the most "normal" member of S.N.A.F.U.
  • Sasquatch (voiced by Randy Savage) – Sasquatch is a strong, man-beast member of S.N.A.F.U. His roar can hypnotize animals to do what he wants. He wants animals to rule the planet. He always talks about himself in the third person, saying things like "Sasquatch is the mightiest!"
  • Brandon (voiced by Jason Schwartzman and later David Hornsby) – Brandon is Glowface's nephew and works as an intern for S.N.A.F.U. He's a nice, handsome teenage boy who has a crush on Tuesday. They even go on dates, which makes both the X's and Glowface unhappy! Brandon doesn't really act like a villain and often ignores his uncle's plans.
  • The Scream Queens – These are two cheerleaders in S.N.A.F.U. who can make a super loud sonic scream. They appear in many episodes.
  • S.N.A.F.U. Minions (voiced by Carlos Ramos) – These are Glowface's foot-soldiers. They wear uniforms with their heads inside globes, so you never see their faces. They even have a "Cake Day" each month to celebrate birthdays!
  • Copperhead (voiced by Tom Kenny) – Copperhead is half-man, half-machine. He's known as "the most evil of all evil spies." He can control metal, like Magneto from X-Men.
