Cartoon Network is a popular TV channel in Pakistan. It is available through cable and satellite services. This channel is run by WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks Asia Pacific. It mainly shows animated cartoons. Many of these cartoons come from Cartoon Network Studios and Warner Bros. Animation.
Cartoon Network Pakistan officially started on 2 April 2004. It was made especially for viewers in Pakistan and Bangladesh. When it first launched, its shows were similar to the Cartoon Network channel in India. However, this is no longer the case.

Special Programming Blocks
Sometimes, channels group shows together into special blocks. Here are some of Cartoon Network Pakistan's blocks:
- Pogo TV
The Pogo TV block came back in January 2021. It currently only shows Grizzy and the Lemmings. This block was on before, from 2008 to 2013, and it had more shows then. The idea for this block comes from the Indian channel Pogo (TV channel).
- Cartoon Network Popcorn
This block used to air only on weekends. But since January 2021, you can watch it every day! Cartoon Network Popcorn mostly shows movies. These include films from the Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo, Ben 10, Batman, and Superman series. You can also see movies like We Bare Bears: The Movie, Firebreather, and Monster Beach.
Past Shows and Blocks
Cartoon Network Pakistan has had many different shows and special blocks over the years. Here are some of them:
Old Programming Blocks
- Rise and Shine
This was a one-hour morning block. It was made for younger kids, like preschoolers. Shows in this block included Sesame Street and Oswald.
- Cookie Jar
Cookie Jar was an evening block that lasted for one hour. It featured many classic cartoons. These included Tom and Jerry Tales, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Richie Rich (from the 1980s). This block later ended.
- Candy Land
This block started on 16 March 2009. It was an evening block that lasted for one hour. Candy Land featured Tom & Jerry and Ben 10 Alien Force. This block is no longer on air.
- Boomerang
The Boomerang block showed classic cartoons. Some of these were The All New Popeye show, Johnny Bravo, The Jetsons, and The Tom and Jerry Show (from 1975). It also showed Powerpuff Girls, Make Way for Noddy, Dexter's Laboratory, and Bob the Builder. This block aimed to bring back older Hanna-Barbera cartoons. It was later replaced by the Pogo block.
- Toonami
Toonami was a block focused on action cartoons. It was similar to the Toonami block in the United States. This block ran from 2004 to 2013.
- Sunny Funny Afternoons
This was a one-hour afternoon block. It started on 31 January 2016. It first showed Oggy and the Cockroaches and Teen Titans Go!. Later, We Bare Bears replaced Oggy and the Cockroaches.
- Laughternoons
Laughternoons was a two-hour afternoon block. It began on 6 June 2016. It originally featured Oggy and the Cockroaches, Clarence, Mr Bean: The Animated Series, and Uncle Grandpa. Over time, some shows were replaced. The Amazing World of Gumball was later added to this block.
- Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club block started on 7 May 2016. It included shows like Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball, and The Tom and Jerry Show. Later, Steven Universe, Ben 10 (the reboot), and The Powerpuff Girls were added.
- It's All About Action
This was a one-hour block shown late at night. It started on 4 March 2016. Even though its ads showed scenes from Ben 10: Alien Force and Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, it only aired Ben 10: Omniverse episodes. This block stopped in January 2021.
- Toontastic Weekends
This weekend block began in January 2020. It featured two shows, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Shows included Running Man, Total Dramarama, Monster Beach, and Ben 10 reboot. The shows in this block changed almost every month. This block also stopped in January 2021.
