The Ren & Stimpy Show facts for kids
The Ren & Stimpy Show was a very popular American cartoon show. It was created by John Kricfalusi and first shown on Nickelodeon. The show started on August 11, 1991, and finished on December 16, 1996. It follows the funny adventures of two main characters: Ren Höek, a small, sometimes grumpy dog, and Stimpy, a friendly but not-so-smart cat.
The Ren & Stimpy Show was one of the first original animated series made by Nickelodeon. These shows were called "Nicktoons." Other early Nicktoons included Rugrats and Doug.
