Teletoon facts for kids
Teletoon is a Canadian TV channel that mostly shows cartoons. It's owned by a company called Corus Entertainment. While most of its shows are animated, it also broadcasts movies that are usually live-action. Many programs on Teletoon are great for the whole family to watch together.
For older teenagers and adults, there's a special block of shows called Teletoon at Night. These shows air from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
About Teletoon Channel
Teletoon is well-known for its animated series. Some of these shows are made in Canada, while others come from different countries. During the day, Teletoon airs shows that are perfect for children and younger teenagers. As the evening comes, the channel switches to programs for older teens and adults.
Teletoon broadcasts in two different versions, called "feeds." One feed is for people living in the Eastern Time Zone, and the other is for those in the Pacific Time Zone. This helps make sure everyone can watch shows at the right time.
In 2013, Teletoon and its French-language version were available in over 7.3 million Canadian homes. That same year, Corus Entertainment bought Teletoon from its previous owner for 37 million dollars.
