Caillou is a popular Canadian children's TV show. It is based on a series of books created by author Christine L'Heureux and illustrator Hélène Desputeaux. The main character, Caillou, was voiced by several actors. Bryn McAuley was the first voice. Later, Jaclyn Linetsky took over the role. After Jaclyn's passing in 2003, Annie Bovaird became the voice of Caillou.

About the Caillou TV Show

The show follows the adventures of a young boy named Caillou. He lives with his loving family: his mom, Doris; his dad, Boris; and his little sister, Rosie. Caillou also has a pet cat named Gilbert. Their neighbor, Mr. Hinkle, lives next door. Caillou's babysitter, Julie, also appears in the show.

In the first season, Caillou was four years old and wore a gray shirt. From season two onwards, he started wearing his well-known yellow shirt. In the later seasons (four and five), Caillou began attending school. The show often explores everyday situations and feelings that young children experience. Some viewers have discussed Caillou's behavior, leading to conversations about how characters grow and learn.
