Popi Malliotaki (Greek: Πόπη Μαλλιωτάκη; born 16 October 1971) is a Greek pop-folk singer. She is known for her energetic performances and popular songs.

Popi Malliotaki's Musical Journey
Popi Malliotaki was born in Ierapetra, Crete. She first studied nursing in Heraklion, also in Crete. While studying, she worked as a nurse. At the same time, she also started singing in nightclubs. After about eight months, she decided to focus only on music.
She has worked with many famous artists over the years. Some of these include Paschalis Terzis, Yannis Ploutarchos, and Vasilis Karras. Popi has released three albums and many singles. She has been a singer for more than 20 years.
Her Family Life
Popi Malliotaki has been married twice. From her first marriage to singer Sakis Galanis, she has a daughter named Rania. Later, in 1992, she met Babis Lazaridis in Germany. They got married in Athens in 1999. From her marriage to Babis Lazaridis, she has a son named Vasilis Lazaridis. Vasilis is now a model, journalist, and blogger.
Her Music Releases
First Album: "Aparetiti Agapi Mou" (2005)
In 2005, Popi Malliotaki signed with Alpha Records. She then released her first album, called Aparetiti Agapi Mou. The music was created by Elias Tryfonides. The lyrics were written by Rania Tikou. Popi Malliotaki sang a duet on the album with Haris Akritidis. The song was also called "Aparetiti Agapi Mou".
Another song, Me ragises, became very popular. A music video was made for it by director George Gavalos. Even though it was her first album, it did very well. It reached 13th place on the official Greek music charts (IFPI TOP 50) for a week.
Second Album: "Alli Mia Fora" (2006)
At the start of 2006, Popi released her second album. It was titled Alli Mia Fora. Some of the popular songs from this album include "Alli mia fora" and "Erotas isouna". Other hits were "Amartimata" and "Gineka monadiki".
A fun surprise on the album was a duet. Popi Malliotaki sang with TV presenter Maria Bekatorou. In the summer of 2007, the album became a "gold" record. This means it sold a lot of copies!
Third Album: "Popara" (2007-2008)
By the end of 2007, Popi Malliotaki released her third album. It was called Popara. The main song, "Popara," was a bit funny. It was sung in 6 different languages and 3 versions. This was Popi's way of responding to a TV show that had made fun of her.
The song was a huge hit right away. It helped her become even more famous. In 2008, because the album was so successful, she worked with a phone company. They released a calling card named "Popara," just like her album.
New Singles: "Ta Xanaleme" and "Ta Thelo Mou" (2013-2014)
After some time away from releasing new albums, Popi returned. She had left Alpha Records. In 2013, she released a new single called Ta xanaleme. This song was released by a new company, Lobby Music. The single included songs like "Ta xanaleme" and "Tha se timoriso".
The song "Ta xanaleme" featured a rapper named Mentoras. In 2014, Popi Malliotaki released another single. This one was called "Ta thelo mou". The music for this song was by Panos Roumeliotis.

In 2020, Popi Malliotaki worked again with Panos Falaras and Akis Diximos. They created the song To klidi tou feggariou. It was released on December 22 by Heaven Music. A music video came out with the song. In December 2021, she released her fourth single in a row from Heaven Music. This was a dance version of "Arga i grigora". It also came with a music video.
