Port Colden is a small community in Warren County, New Jersey. It's located within Washington Township. Port Colden is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means the United States Census Bureau counts its population separately. However, it is not an official town or city.
As of the 2020 Census, about 260 people lived in Port Colden. The community got its name because it was located on the Morris Canal. It was also named after Cadwallader D. Colden, who was the president of the Morris Canal Company.
