Pozos is a district located in the Santa Ana area. It is part of the San José province in Costa Rica. Pozos was officially created in 1907. The main road in the district is called Lindora. This name is also often used to refer to the district and its nearby areas.

The name Pozos comes from a Spanish word. It means ponds. There used to be many ponds in the northern part of the district. This was because the ground there was made of clay.
