Preap Sovath (Khmer: ព្រាប សុវត្ថិ; born on January 25, 1975) is a famous Cambodian singer, actor, and brand ambassador. He started his singing journey in the early 1990s. He has also acted in Cambodian movies, like The Crocodile. He was a judge on popular TV shows such as Cambodian Idol, Cambodia's Got Talent, and The Voice Kid Cambodia. In 2022, he received the special royal title of Okhna.

Preap Sovath's Music Career

Oknha Preap Sovath's singing career began in the 1990s. At that time, he joined the army. He worked during the day and sang at restaurants or bars at night.

He sang with another artist, Touch Sunnix, for about a year, from 1995 to 1996. During this time, he released his very first song.

In 2014, he represented Cambodia at the World Music Awards. He was nominated for an award there, which was a big honor for his country.

Preap Sovath worked with Rasmey Hang Meas Production for many years, starting in 1994. In 2020, he joined Galaxy Navatra. He hoped to help promote Khmer music and artists to people all over the world.

Live Performances and Concerts

Oknha Preap Sovath has performed in many important concerts. On December 12, 2008, he took part in the MTV EXIT Concert in Phnom Penh. .....

He has also performed at the "Best of the Best: Live Concert." This concert has happened every year since 2004 at Phnom Penh Olympic Stadium. Many Cambodian singers perform there. The concert is free for everyone to attend. The money from DVD sales helps cover the costs. He also performed at the "Best of the Best 2012" concert on February 14, 2012, at Koh Pich's Concert Hall.
