PriPara Minna no Akogare Let's Go PriPari (プリパラ み~んなのあこがれ♪レッツゴー☆プリパリ) is a fun Japanese animated movie from 2016. It was directed by Makoto Moriwaki and made by Tatsunoko Production. This film is the third one in the PriPara movie series. The PriPara series is based on a popular arcade game and a TV show. The movie first came out in Japan on March 12, 2016.

Saving PriPara's Sparkle

Laala and her friends are having a normal day in Pripara. Suddenly, they are all moved to the Pripara Grand Canyon. Meganii and Meganee explain that they got a help message from Falulu. Falulu is in Pripari, which is the main office for all of Pripara.

Falulu warns them that dark clouds are appearing above the Eppel Tower. Pripari is losing its "Sparkle power." This power is what makes idols shine. If Pripara loses all its Sparkle, idols can no longer perform.

Meganii tells the idols they must go to Pripari to save Pripara. On their way, they need to perform as much as they can. This will help them collect Sparkle, or "likes," from idols around the world. Meganee gives them special vehicles. They cannot use regular transport because of the problem in Pripari. The entrance to Pripari is at the end of the canyon.

Falulu's Danger

In Pripari, Falulu starts to get very sick. Unicorn explains to Gaaruru that Falulu was born from Sparkle power. If Pripara is not saved, Falulu and the other Mini Falulus will disappear. Gaaruru is safe because she was born from different feelings.

Laala and her friends start their journey through the canyon. When they reach the entrance to Pripari, they find Aromageddon there. Aroma wants to get to Pripari first and block the entrance. But Mikan accidentally sets off an explosive too early. This blasts everyone out of Pripara to different places around the world.

Idols Around the World

  • Laala, Mirei, and Sophy end up in Osaka, Japan. They find the local Pripara in an Aquarium. They perform for the idols there and collect likes. Then they continue their journey to Pripari.
  • Sion, Dorothy, and Reona land in the United States of Pamerica. They find the Arepa 51 Pripara to perform at. After that, they get lost in the Gobi desert. There, they meet Hibiki. The desert makes people add silly words to the end of their sentences, which Hibiki hates! Hibiki has to perform to make an oasis appear and save her friends from thirst. The three idols thank Hibiki. They are surprised when she starts saying "Pri" at the end of her sentences. Hibiki gets angry and leaves the desert quickly.
  • Aroma and Mikan arrive in Pegypt. Mikan finds the entrance to Pegypt's Pripara in a Pyramid under a lake. They perform there to get more likes.
  • Ajimi gets lost in the Atlantic Ocean. She manages to reach the Palps and meet up with Fuwari. Fuwari is visiting her grandfather. The two idols sing a duet for Fuwari's grandfather. Then they continue their journey to Pripari.
  • Other idols, including Sophy's Royal Guard and Laala's friends, arrive in New York. They end up at the Pripara Fancy Club. They learn that the club holds idol "deathmatches." They cannot leave unless they win their match. Chanko, from the Royal Guard, is chosen to fight. She wins her match and performs, collecting likes.

The Cause of the Problem

SoLaMi Smile and Dressing Pafe reach Pripari first. They find the city-sized Pripara covered in black clouds. The idols in Pripari are acting strangely, saying they hate everything. But Dorothy finds out she can use the power of the likes in her Cyalume Charm. This changes the Pripari idols back to normal.

SoLaMi Smile and Dressing Pafe go to Falulu. Gaaruru explains why the black clouds appeared. When Falulu and Gaaruru came back to Pripari, they were with Gloria Ookanda. Gloria met her older sister, Ploria, on top of the Eppel Tower. The sisters were happy to see each other at first. But then they started arguing over something small. This argument created the black clouds and spread negative feelings over Pripari. The sisters are still fighting, which keeps making the clouds worse.

Gaaruru explains that Falulu might be able to help them reach the two Ookanda sisters. But Falulu has fallen into a coma, along with the other Mini Falulus. Laala and her friends try to use their Cyalume Charms to wake Falulu up. But they don't have enough likes.

Just when they start to lose hope, the other idols appear! They use their charms to wake Falulu up. All the idols then perform a live show in front of the Eppel Tower. This makes the sisters realize what they are doing and stop fighting. Pripari is saved, and Pripara is restored! The Ookanda sisters forgive each other. Laala and her friends return to Japan.

After the Show

In a scene after the credits, Laala wakes up. Her friend Non tells her a new idol group has appeared in Pripara. Meganii reveals the group is Junon, Pinon, and Kanon of Triangle. He tells the audience he looks forward to seeing them again in Pripara next time.
