How to Play the Game
Playing Princess and the Pea is quite simple and exciting! It's a game for 2 to 4 players. Each game usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes to finish.
Starting Your Adventure
Setting up the game is quick, taking only about 5 minutes. Players choose their bed pieces. The goal is to collect as many mattresses as you can. You also want to be the first to reach the special crown space!
Moving and Collecting Mattresses
On your turn, you roll a die. Then, you move your bed piece forward that many spaces on the game board. Each space you land on has a special action. These actions make the game interesting!
- Some spaces let you add new mattresses to your bed from the supply.
- Other spaces might make you give a mattress to another player.
- You might even get to take a mattress from the player who has the most!
Winning the Game
The game ends when one player reaches the very last space on the board, which is the crown space. Once this happens, all other players move their beds to that same space. Then, everyone counts their mattresses. The player with the most mattresses wins the game! If two or more players have the same highest number of mattresses, they share the win.
