The Blue Mouse Theatre
One special place is the Blue Mouse Theatre. It opened in 1923 and is the oldest movie theater in Washington state that's still showing movies every day! It even celebrated its 90th birthday in 2013 and is a historic landmark. This means it's an important building from the past.
Proctor Station and New Buildings
The main part of Proctor is where Proctor Street and North 26th Street meet. A bridge nearby, built in 1927, was rebuilt in 2006 to make it safer.
There are also some newer buildings in the area. For example, Proctor Station has shops on the first floor and apartments above them. Another building, Madison 25, was finished in 2022 and added more than 140 new homes to the neighborhood. A third building, Proctor III, is also being planned.
