Project Ara facts for kids
Project Ara is the codename for an initiative by Google. It aims to develop a free, open hardware platform for making modular smartphones. Google says the phone is designed to be used by "six billion people". It will come in three sizes. The project was announced by Google in October 2013. It is led by Paul Eremenko.
