Queen's Road Methodist Church was a Methodist church located in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, England. It served as a place of worship for the local community for many years.

History of the Church Building

The idea for Queen's Road Methodist Church started in 1884. It grew from a mission connected to the Chapel-Street Wesleyan Church.

Building the Church

The church building was designed by an architect named John Wills. It was built by a contractor named William Edwards from Derby. The church officially opened its doors on May 24, 1900.

The building was made to hold 425 people. It cost about £1,900 to build back then. This amount would be worth much more money today.

Changes Over Time

In 2014, Queen's Road Methodist Church joined with other churches. These included Wollaton Road Methodist Church and Chilwell Road Methodist Church. After this merger, the old Queen's Road church building was put up for sale in 2018.
