Quinton Robert Hosley (born March 25, 1984) is a professional basketball player. He was born in America but also became a citizen of Georgia. He is 2.01 meters (6 feet 7 inches) tall and plays as a swingman, which means he can play both small forward and shooting guard. Quinton's father, Ron Mathias, was also a famous streetball player.

Playing College Basketball
Before becoming a professional, Quinton Hosley played college basketball for two seasons. He played at Lamar Community College and then at Fresno State University. During his college career, he averaged about 16.1 points and 9 rebounds in each game.
Quinton's Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Quinton Hosley was not chosen in the 2007 NBA draft. However, he still started a successful professional career in Europe.
Starting in Turkey and Spain
In 2007, Hosley joined a team called Pınar Karşıyaka in the Turkish Basketball League. The next year, in 2008, he moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid, a very famous team in the Spanish ACB League. After a short time with Real Madrid, he returned to Turkey to play for Galatasaray Café Crown.
In October 2010, he signed a deal with another Turkish team, Aliağa Petkim. Later that summer, he signed a two-year contract with DKV Joventut in Spain.
Playing in Italy and Poland
In July 2011, Quinton Hosley moved to Italy to play for the club Dinamo Basket Sassari.
A year later, in August 2012, he signed with Stelmet Zielona Góra in Poland. This team had just won a bronze medal in the Polish League. In 2013, Hosley helped Zielona Góra win their first-ever Polish League Championship! He was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Finals.
Returning to Italy and Poland
In July 2013, Hosley went back to Italy to play for Virtus Roma for the 2013–14 season.
In July 2014, he returned to his former team, Stelmet Zielona Góra, in Poland. He helped them win the Polish League Championship again in 2015. They beat PGE Turów Zgorzelec 4–2 in the Finals. For the second time, Quinton was named the PLK Finals MVP.
Later Career Teams
In August 2015, he signed with a Russian team, Krasny Oktyabr, but left them a month later. In October 2015, he joined Yeşilgiresun Belediye in Turkey for the rest of that season.
In July 2016, Hosley signed with a French club, Nanterre 92, but he left before playing any games for them. In October 2016, he moved to Iran to play for Shahrdari Arak.
In October 2017, Quinton Hosley signed with his former Turkish team, Yeşilgiresun Belediye, for the 2017–18 season. In January 2018, he moved to another Polish club, Anwil Włocławek, for the rest of the season.
Playing for Georgia
Quinton Hosley also played for the Georgia national basketball team in 2010. This means he represented the country of Georgia in international basketball games.
