Rabah is a town and a Local Government Area (LGA) located in Sokoto State, Nigeria. It serves as the main town for the Rabah Local Government Area. The name Rabah is also an Arabic word.

Rabah's Famous Connection
Rabah is well-known as the hometown of Sir Ahmadu Bello. He was a very important leader in Nigerian history. Sir Ahmadu Bello was the first Premier of Northern Nigeria. This means he was the main political leader of the northern part of Nigeria before it became fully independent. He took over this role in 1934, following in his father's footsteps as the head of the Rabah District.
