Radhika Pandit (born on March 7, 1984) is a famous Indian actress. She mainly acts in movies made in the Kannada language. She is one of the most popular and well-paid actresses in Kannada cinema. Radhika has won many awards, including three Filmfare Awards South and a Karnataka State Film Award.
She started her career in TV shows like Nandagokula and Sumangali in 2007. Her first movie was Moggina Manasu in 2008. For this film, she won awards for Best Actress. She also won two more Filmfare Best Actress Awards for Love Guru (2009) and Krishnan Love Story (2010).
Radhika became a top actress with many successful films. These include Hudugaru (2011), Addhuri (2012), Drama (2012), Bahaddur (2014), Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari (2014), and Doddmane Hudga (2016). She won a SIIMA Award for Best Actress for Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari. Her last movie was Aadi Lakshmi Puraana in 2019. After that, she took a break from acting.

Early Life and First Steps in Acting
Radhika Pandit was born in Bangalore, India. Her family speaks the Konkani language. Her father, Krishna Pandit, is also involved in theater and films. Radhika grew up in Malleswaram, a part of Bangalore. She has a younger brother named Gourang. She still lives in her grandfather's house because it holds special memories for her.
She went to Cluny Convent High School in Bangalore. Later, she studied for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Mount Carmel College. Radhika first wanted to become a teacher. But in 2007, during her last year of college, a friend convinced her to try out for a TV show. She got a role in the Kannada TV series Nandagokula without even needing an audition.
In the same year, she also appeared in another TV show called Sumangali. Soon, her pictures started appearing in magazines. Film directors noticed her and offered her roles in movies. She was chosen for 18th Cross and Moggina Manasu. She started filming 18th Cross first.
Her Journey in Movies
Becoming a Star (2008–2011)
Radhika Pandit's first time acting in a movie was for 18th Cross in 2007. However, that movie was delayed and came out later in 2012. So, her first released movie was Moggina Manasu in 2008. In this film, she played Chanchala, a college girl dealing with problems like bullying. She acted alongside Yash, whom she had worked with before on TV.
Moggina Manasu was a big hit, and Radhika's acting was highly praised. Critics said she was a bright new talent. She won the Karnataka State Film Award and a Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this role.
Her next movie was Olave Jeevana Lekkachaara (2009). It was a romantic drama. She played Rukmini, a girl who is tricked by a fake intellectual. Critics liked her performance, calling it "classic and lively."
In 2009, she also starred in Love Guru. This was a romantic film about misunderstandings. Radhika played Kushi. Her acting was again praised, with many calling her one of the best new actresses. She won her second Filmfare Award for Best Actress for this movie.

Radhika Pandit first met actor Yash in 2007 on the set of their TV show Nandagokula. They started dating after working together in movies. They kept their relationship private for many years. They got engaged in August 2016 and married in December of the same year in a private ceremony in Bangalore. They now have two children.
Off-Screen Activities
After her marriage, Radhika Pandit became involved with the Yasho Marga Foundation. This foundation was started by her and Yash. It aims to help farmers and laborers. They have worked to restore lakes in parts of Karnataka, like Koppal and Shivamogga.
Between 2013 and 2014, Radhika Pandit and Puneeth Rajkumar were chosen as brand ambassadors for the Right to Education program in Karnataka. This was part of the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan initiative. She has also promoted brands like KLF Nirmal Coconut oil and Gillette's Shave India Movement.
