Raffaele Palladino (born on April 17, 1984) is an Italian professional football coach. He used to be a player and is now the head coach for the Fiorentina club.

Playing Career Highlights
Raffaele Palladino began his senior football journey at Sporting Benevento. Later, in 2002, he joined the youth teams of Juventus. While at Juventus, he helped his team win the Torneo di Viareggio youth tournament in both 2003 and 2004.
Early Club Loans
In the 2004–05 season, Palladino played for Serie B club Salernitana on loan. The next season, 2005–06, he was loaned to Livorno. On August 27, 2005, he scored his very first goal in Serie A (Italy's top league) while playing for Livorno. This goal helped Livorno win 2–1 against Lecce.
Returning to Juventus
Palladino returned to the main Juventus team for the 2006–07 season. At this time, Juventus had been moved down to Serie B (the second division). He scored his first goal for Juventus in a 1–1 draw against AlbinoLeffe on November 18, 2006.
On March 19, 2007, he scored his first "hat-trick" (three goals in one game) in a big 5–1 win over Triestina. That season, Juventus won the Serie B title and quickly moved back up to Serie A.
Moving to Other Clubs
On July 3, 2008, Palladino joined Genoa. He played there for a few years. Later, on January 3, 2011, he moved to Parma. He stayed with Parma until 2015.
After Parma, Palladino played for Crotone starting in November 2015. He renewed his contract there in 2016. In January 2017, he returned to Genoa. He then played for Spezia in Serie B in 2018. His last club as a player was Monza, which he joined on March 31, 2019.
International Appearances
Palladino played for the Italian national team. He made his first appearance for Italy when he was 23 years old. This was in a 3–1 home win against the Faroe Islands on November 21, 2007. He played as one of the three main attackers in that game.
Playing Style
Raffaele Palladino was a left-footed player. He usually played as a winger, which means he played on the sides of the field. He could also play as a forward or a second striker, helping to score goals.
He was known for his great technical skills and his ability to dribble the ball. He was also very fast and agile. These skills helped him get past other players and create chances to shoot and score goals.

Coaching at Monza
Palladino started coaching the youth teams at Monza in 2019. On July 9, 2021, he became the head coach for Monza's Primavera team, which is their under-19 squad. His team did well, reaching the semi-finals of the 2021–22 Campionato Primavera 2 play-offs. Because of his success, Monza extended his contract in July 2022.
On September 13, 2022, Palladino was promoted to head coach of Monza's main team. This happened after the previous coach, Giovanni Stroppa, left the club. In his very first game as head coach, Palladino led Monza to their first-ever win in Serie A. They beat the strong team Juventus 1–0!
He was even named Serie A Coach of the Month for April 2023. He helped Monza stay in Serie A, avoiding being moved down to a lower league. On June 2, 2023, he signed a new contract to stay with Monza for another season.
Coaching at Fiorentina
On June 4, 2024, Palladino was chosen to be the head coach for Fiorentina, another team in Serie A. He signed a two-year contract with them.
