Raffaele Tafuri was an Italian painter. He was born in Salerno, Italy, on January 27, 1857. He passed away in Venice in 1929. Raffaele Tafuri is well-known for his beautiful paintings of coastal landscapes.

He started learning art from his family. Later, he moved to Naples to study at the Institute of Fine Arts. In Naples, he also learned from the sculptor Stanislao Lista.

Raffaele Tafuri showed his art at the first Biennale of Art in Venice in 1895. He also participated in this important art show in 1907, 1909, 1910, and 1914.
