The Raising Cane's River Center is a large entertainment complex. It is located in downtown Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This center opened its doors in 1977.
It has many different parts. These include an arena, a ballroom, and an exhibition center. There is also a theater and a library. More than 500 events happen here every year. The center was first called the Riverside Centroplex. Later, it was known as the Baton Rouge River Center. In 2016, a company called Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers signed a deal. They agreed to pay for the naming rights for 10 years.

Fun Places Inside the River Center
The Raising Cane's River Center has several areas. Each area is designed for different types of events.
Raising Cane's Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall is a very large space. It is used for conventions and big exhibits. After an expansion in 2011, it now has about 70,000 square feet (7,000 m²) of space. This hall can even connect to the arena. When combined, they create over 100,000 square feet (10,000 m²) of continuous space. This is great for really huge events.
Raising Cane's Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom is another big area. It offers about 26,150 square feet (2,429 m²) of space. This room is very flexible. It can be used for many different kinds of gatherings.
River Center Theater for Performing Arts
The Theater for Performing Arts is a special place for shows. It can seat almost 2,000 people. This theater is home to several local groups. These include Opera Louisiane and the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre. The Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra also performs here. It is also a popular spot for plays and musicals.
Raising Cane's River Center Arena
The Arena is a major part of the complex. It hosts many exciting events. You can see concerts, sports games, and family shows here. It also holds trade shows.
The arena can hold different numbers of people. For concerts, it can fit up to 10,400 guests. For sporting events, there are seats for 8,900 fans. If it's a theater event, about 4,500 people can attend.
