Raquel Sánchez-Silva is a famous Spanish television presenter and writer. She was born on January 13, 1973, in Plasencia, Spain. She is known for hosting many popular TV shows and for her writing.

Her Journey in Television

Raquel Sánchez-Silva studied journalism before starting her career. She began working at a local TV station in Plasencia. Later, she became a news anchor for Telemadrid.

She then moved to Canal+, where she hosted shows like Noche de los Oscars and La hora wiki. After that, she joined Cuatro and presented various programs. These included shows about food, entertainment, and special episodes for popular series like House and Grey's Anatomy.

When Cuatro joined the Mediaset España group, Raquel started working on reality television shows for Telecinco. In 2015, she began hosting a daily talk show called Likes on Movistar+'s new channel, #0.

In 2017, Raquel became the host of Maestros de la Costura. This show is the Spanish version of The Great British Sewing Bee and airs on TVE.
