Raquel Sánchez Silva, born on January 13, 1973, in Plasencia, Spain, is a well-known Spanish television presenter and writer. She has hosted many popular TV shows and written several books.

After studying journalism, Raquel began her career at a local TV station in Plasencia. She then became a news anchor for Telemadrid. Later, she joined Canal+ where she worked on shows like Noche de los Oscars and La hora wiki.

Her career continued to grow at Cuatro, where she hosted programs such as Soy lo que como and Noche Cuatro. She also presented special shows about popular series like House and Grey's Anatomy. When Cuatro joined the Mediaset España group, Raquel started working on exciting reality shows for Telecinco.

In 2015, she moved to Movistar+ to host Likes, a daily talk show on their new channel #0. Later, in 2017, she became the presenter of Maestros de la Costura on TVE, which is the Spanish version of The Great British Sewing Bee. She also hosted the daily talk show Lo siguiente on TVE starting in 2018.
