Rasquera (pronounced ras-KEH-rah) is a charming small town in Catalonia, Spain. It's officially called a municipality. You can find it in the Ribera d'Ebre area, which is part of the Tarragona province.
This lovely town is nestled at the foot of the Serra de Cardó mountains. It's also quite close to Highway C-12, making it easy to reach.
What Makes Rasquera Special?
Rasquera is famous for a couple of unique things!
- Basketwork: The people of Rasquera are very skilled at making baskets. They create beautiful and useful items by hand, using traditional methods that have been passed down through generations.
