Early Life and Inspiration
Ray Cash grew up in the city of Cleveland. When he was in high school, he loved to rap. He would perform freestyle rap with his friends. They would even bang on lunchroom tables to make beats! Ray Cash decided he wanted to become a professional rapper after seeing the famous artist Jay-Z in concert. This show inspired him to follow his dreams in music.

First Album Success
His first album was called Cash on Delivery. It was released on June 27, 2006. This album did very well, reaching number 41 on the Billboard 200 music chart. Music magazine XXL even praised the album. A popular song from this album was "Bumpin' My Music," which featured the well-known hip hop artist Scarface. This song became quite popular in 2006.
Second Album Release
After his first album, Ray Cash quickly started working on his next project. His second album was titled Rosé Ray. It was released on September 30, 2009. This album included a song called "Certified." It featured fellow Cleveland artist Darren Anthony and rapper Curren$y. The entire album was produced by M. Stacks. Another song on the album, "Let Me," also featured Darren Anthony.
Other Albums
Ray Cash has released other albums too. In 2011, he released two more albums. One was called Champagne Talk. The other was named Don King. These albums continued his journey in the music world.
