Lawsuit Information
In March 2012, there was news about a legal case involving Currensy and Damon Dash. Currensy stated that he never officially signed with Dash's DD172 label. He claimed that Dash released his albums, Pilot Talk I, Pilot Talk II, and Muscle Car Chronicles, without his permission. Currensy asked Dash to stop releasing his music for money. On October 6, 2015, Currensy was awarded $3 million in a settlement. This was from the 2012 lawsuit against Dash for releasing his music without his agreement.
