Jordan Michael Houston III (born April 5, 1975), known as Juicy J, is an American rapper, songwriter, and music producer. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee.
Juicy J is a founder of the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia, which started in 1991. The group became very popular and signed with Columbia Records in 2000. Their song "Stay Fly" was a big hit in 2005. That same year, they won an Academy Award for Best Original Song for their song "It's Hard out Here for a ..." from the movie Hustle & Flow.
Juicy J also has a successful solo career. He released his first solo albums while still with Three 6 Mafia. Later, he signed with Kemosabe Records and Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment. His 2012 song "Bandz a Make Her Dance" was very popular. His album Stay Trippy (2013) reached number four on the music charts. He has also worked with many famous artists like Katy Perry on her hit song "Dark Horse". He is the younger brother of fellow rapper Project Pat.

Early Life and Music Dreams
Jordan Michael Houston III was born on April 5, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee. When he was a teenager, he read many books about the music business. He learned about how music is marketed, published, and how artists earn money. He looked up to Al Bell, a music executive from Tennessee.
Juicy J even wrote lyrics for the 1999 Three 6 Mafia song "Slob on My Knob" when he was in 11th grade at North Side High School.
Music Career Highlights
Starting with Three 6 Mafia (1991–2009)
In 1991, Juicy J helped start the hip-hop group known as Three 6 Mafia. He formed the group with DJ Paul and Lord Infamous. Other members included Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, and Koopsta Knicca.
Juicy J and DJ Paul also started their own record labels, Prophet Entertainment and later Hypnotize Minds. In 1995, Three 6 Mafia released their first album, Mystic Stylez. They went on to release eight albums as a group.
In 2002, Juicy J released his first solo album, Chronicles of the Juice Man. A big moment for the group was in 2006. Juicy J, along with DJ Paul, Crunchy Black, and Frayser Boy, won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. This was for their song "It's Hard out Here for a ...". In 2009, he released his second solo album, Hustle Till I Die.
Solo Success and New Labels (2010–2017)
From 2009 to 2011, Juicy J focused more on his solo music. He worked often with rapper Wiz Khalifa. He appeared on Wiz Khalifa's mixtapes and released his own, like Blue Dream & Lean.
In 2011, Juicy J joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment. He became a part-owner and helped find new artists. In 2012, he released "Bandz a Make Her Dance". This song became very popular and reached number 29 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In September 2012, Juicy J signed with Columbia Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. He announced that his third album, Stay Trippy, would come out in 2013. He wanted to work with artists like Nas and Jay-Z. The album featured many guest artists, including Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj.
Stay Trippy was released on August 23, 2013. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. In September 2013, Juicy J was featured on Katy Perry's hit song "Dark Horse". This song became a huge success.
In 2014, Juicy J went on his "Never Sober" concert tour. He also released new songs like "Low" with Nicki Minaj in 2014, and "For Everybody" with Wiz Khalifa in 2015.
On December 8, 2017, Juicy J released his album Rubba Band Business.
Recent Music (2018–Present)
In 2018 and 2019, Juicy J released songs like "Neighbor" with Travis Scott. He also released "Let Me See" and "Three Point Stance". He later returned to releasing music independently.
On February 9, 2024, Juicy J was featured on a song called "This Lil' Game We Play" by Jermaine Dupri. The song also included Nelly and Ashanti.
Personal Life
In July 2016, Jordan Houston married Regina Perera. They have two children, a daughter born in 2018 and a son born in 2020.
