Jordan Michael Houston III (born April 5, 1975), known as Juicy J, is an American rapper and music producer. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He helped start the Southern hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia in 1991.
Juicy J released ten albums with Three 6 Mafia. The group started small but became very popular. They signed with Loud Records in 2000. Their song "Stay Fly" was a big hit in 2005. It reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ..... This song was for the movie Hustle & Flow.
Juicy J also released solo albums like Chronicles of the Juice Man (2002) and Hustle Till I Die (2009). He focused more on his solo music after 2011. He joined Kemosabe Records and Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment. His 2012 song "Bandz a Make Her Dance" was very popular. It helped his third album, Stay Trippy (2013), reach number four on the Billboard 200 chart.
He also appeared on hit songs by other artists. These included "23" by Mike Will Made It and "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry. "Dark Horse" even reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Juicy J has also produced music for many other artists. His brother, Project Pat, is also a rapper from Memphis.

Jordan Michael Houston III was born on April 5, 1975. His hometown is Memphis, Tennessee. As a teenager, he loved to read. He studied many books about the music business. He learned about how music is marketed and how artists earn money. He looked up to Al Bell, a famous music executive from Tennessee.
Starting His Music Journey
Juicy J began his music career early. He was a co-founder of the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia in 1991. He started the group with DJ Paul and Lord Infamous. Other members included Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, and Koopsta Knicca.
Juicy J's Music Career
Forming Three 6 Mafia
Juicy J and DJ Paul first created a record label called Prophet Entertainment. Later, in 1994, they started their own label, Hypnotize Minds. In 1995, Three 6 Mafia released their first official album, Mystic Stylez. The group has released eight albums in total.
Winning an Academy Award
In 2006, Juicy J and other members of Three 6 Mafia won a big award. They won an Academy Award for Academy Award for Best Original Song. ..... This award was a huge achievement for the group.
Solo Albums and New Labels
Juicy J released his first solo album, Chronicles of the Juice Man, in 2002. His second solo album, Hustle Till I Die, came out in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, he focused more on his solo music. He worked a lot with rapper Wiz Khalifa.
In 2011, Juicy J joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records. He became a part-owner and helped find new artists. In 2012, he released "Bandz a Make Her Dance". This song became very popular and reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Releasing Stay Trippy
In September 2012, Juicy J signed with Columbia Records and Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records. He announced his third album, Stay Trippy, would be released in 2013. Many famous artists were featured on the album. These included Wiz Khalifa, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Chris Brown.
Stay Trippy was released on August 23, 2013. It was a success, reaching number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Juicy J also appeared on Katy Perry's hit song "Dark Horse" in 2013. This song became a global hit.
Later Albums and Independent Work
In 2014, Juicy J went on his "Never Sober" concert tour. He released new songs like "Low" with Nicki Minaj in 2014. In 2016, he announced his album Rubba Band Business. This album was released on December 8, 2017.
After 2018, Juicy J released more songs. He later left Columbia Records. On July 31, 2020, he announced his fifth album, The Hustle Continues. This album was released through his new label, Entertainment One. In 2024, he released the album Ravenite Social Club. He also released Memphis Zoo with Xavier Wulf in 2024.
Personal Life
Juicy J married Regina Perera in July 2016. They have two children, a daughter born in 2018 and a son born in 2020.
