The 28th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was a big show held on March 28, 2015. It took place at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The famous singer and actor Nick Jonas was the host for the evening.

The show was broadcast live at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. It was also shown on other channels like TeenNick, Nicktoons, and TV Land. You could even watch it on Nickelodeon's mobile apps and website! Right before the awards, a special double episode of The Thundermans aired.

This year, there were 4 brand new award categories. Kids from all over the world could vote for their favorites. Voting happened on 19 different websites across six continents. Even though many people watched, the show had fewer viewers than the year before. About 3.6 million people watched the original broadcast in the United States.

A popular TV show called Austin & Ally won a lot of awards. It took home 3 blimps, which are the cool orange trophies. This made Austin & Ally only the second show from Disney Channel to win "Favorite Kids Show" in the history of the Kids' Choice Awards. After the awards show, a new cartoon series called Harvey Beaks premiered.
