Early Life and Music Beginnings
Luan Santana was born in Campo Grande, Brazil, on March 13, 1991. He started showing his musical talent very early! When he was just three years old, he loved singing Brazilian country music, known as 'sertanejo' songs. He would sing popular tunes like Muda de vida and Chico Mineiro.
Luan Santana's Music Career
Luan Santana's career took off in 2009. He performed many concerts across Brazil. By 2010, people were calling him the "new phenomenon of sertanejo music." He even performed for a huge crowd of 50,000 people at the Festa do Peão de Barretos.
In 2014, Luan Santana worked with the famous singer Enrique Iglesias. They made a Brazilian version of the song "Bailando" together.
His album 1977 was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2017. This award was for the Best Sertaneja Music Album. His album Live Móvel also received a nomination for the same award in 2019. In 2020, Luan Santana was named the most-played artist on Brazilian radio stations during the 2010s. He had over 1 million plays!
