Mandy Grace Capristo (born March 21, 1990), also known simply as Mandy, is a German singer and songwriter. She became famous as a member of the girl band Monrose. After the band split up, Mandy started a successful solo career. She has released albums and singles, and also appeared on TV shows.

Early Life and First Steps in Music
Mandy Grace Capristo was born in Mannheim, Germany. Her father is Italian, and her mother is German. She grew up in Bürstadt. Mandy started gymnastics, dance, and piano lessons when she was four years old.
In 2001, when she was 11, Mandy won the Kiddy Contest. This was a singing competition for teens in Austria. Her winning song was "Ich wünsche mir einen Bankomat." This song was later on a popular album called Kiddy Contest, Vol. 7. Mandy also appeared on TV shows like Tabaluga Tivi.
Becoming Famous with Monrose
In 2006, Mandy joined the German TV show Popstars. This show aimed to create a new girl band. Mandy was chosen by viewers to be one of the three members of the band Monrose. The other members were Senna Gammour and Bahar Kızıl.
Monrose's first song, "Shame", quickly became number one in Germany. It sold over 200,000 copies across Europe. Their first album, Temptation, also reached number one.
