Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress. She first appeared in the family film Holiday in the Sun (2001). After this, she had many supporting roles in movies and TV shows.
She was in the teen musical comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). She also starred in the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith (2004–2006). Her big break came when she played Mikaela Banes in the hit action movie Transformers (2007). She played this role again in the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).
Fox also starred in the horror comedy Jennifer's Body (2009). She played April O'Neil in the superhero action film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). She returned for its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016). She also appeared in the TV show New Girl (2016–2017).
Megan Fox has been featured in many magazines. She has won two Scream Awards and four Teen Choice Awards.

Megan Denise Fox was born on May 16, 1986. Her birthplace was Oak Ridge, Tennessee, in the U.S. She spent her early years in Rockwood. Her parents divorced when she was three years old. Megan and her sister were raised by their mother and stepfather.
Megan started training in dance and drama at age five. This was in Kingston, Tennessee. She took dance classes and was part of the school chorus. She also joined the swim team. At age 10, she moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. There, she continued her training.
When she was 13, Megan began modeling. She won several awards at a modeling convention in 1999. She attended high school in Port St. Lucie. At 17, she finished school early to move to Los Angeles, California.
Fox has shared that she was bullied in middle school. She said she often ate lunch in the bathroom. She felt that other girls disliked her because she got along better with boys. She also mentioned that she was not popular in high school. She felt like an outcast.
Career
Early Roles and Breakthrough
In 2001, Megan Fox made her acting debut. It was in the romantic comedy Holiday in the Sun. She played Brianna Wallace, a rival to Ashley Olsen's character. This movie was released directly to DVD. In the next few years, she appeared on TV shows. These included What I Like About You and Two and a Half Men.
In 2004, Fox made her first movie appearance. She was in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen with Lindsay Lohan. She played Carla Santini. She also joined the TV show Hope & Faith. She played Sydney Shanowski for two seasons. The show ended in 2006.
In 2007, Fox got a main role in Transformers. This movie was based on the popular toys and cartoons. She played Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Shia LaBeouf's character. In 2023, Fox was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She played crime boss Alana in the thriller film Johnny & Clyde. Fox also played Gina in the fourth Expendables film, Expend4bles. She voiced Nitara in the video game Mortal Kombat 1. Both were released in September 2023.
In November 2023, Fox released her first book. It is a collection of her own poetry, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
Personal Life
In 2009, Megan Fox's then-boyfriend's home was robbed. This was done by a group called the "Bling Ring". They wanted access to Fox's belongings. In 2013, she shared that her Christian faith is important to her. She believes it helps her stay grounded.
Fox and her former husband, Brian Austin Green, supported Generosity Water. They helped fund the creation of water wells for the organization.
Fox has said she prefers to stay home rather than go out. She has several tattoos. These include a Chinese symbol for "strength" and a quote from William Shakespeare. She also has a yin and yang symbol and a crescent moon with a star. She once had a tattoo of Marilyn Monroe but later removed it. She said she did not want to attract negative energy.

In May 2020, Green announced their separation. Their divorce was finalized on October 15, 2021.

On January 12, 2022, Fox announced they were engaged. However, on March 21, 2024, their engagement was called off. In November 2024, Fox announced she was expecting a child with him.
