Cameron Michelle Diaz (born August 30, 1972) is an American actress. She has starred in many popular movies, both comedies and dramas. Her films have earned over $3 billion in the U.S. box office. In 2013, she was named the highest-paid actress over 40. Diaz has received many awards and nominations, including for a British Academy Film Award and four Golden Globe Awards.
Diaz was born in San Diego, California, and grew up in Long Beach. She started modeling while still in high school.
