The 29th Annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards was a super fun event held on March 12, 2016. It took place live at The Forum in Inglewood, California. You could watch it live on Nickelodeon and its channels around the world.
This big show was hosted by country music star Blake Shelton. Many channels in the U.S. showed it at the same time. These included Nicktoons, TeenNick, TV Land, and CMT. Even Nick Radio played it! This helped lots of people watch the show. Over 3.3 million people watched on Nickelodeon alone.
One award was not announced during the live show. This was for "Favorite TV Actor – Kids Show." But don't worry, Ross Lynch won it after the show ended! Right after the awards, a brand new TV series started. It was called School of Rock, based on the popular movie.
