Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo (born March 26, 1996) is a famous Filipino actress. She started acting when she was a child. She played younger versions of main characters in TV shows like It Might Be You (2003).

Early Life and Education
Kathryn Bernardo was born on March 26, 1996. Her birthplace was Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, in the Philippines. She is the youngest of four children. Her parents are Luzviminda and Teodore Bernardo.
She was raised in a certain faith. Later, around 2016, she changed her faith.
School Days
Before she started acting in 2003, Kathryn went to Flowerlane Montessori Children's House. This school was in Cabanatuan. Later, she attended OB Montessori Center in Quezon City.
Because she was so busy with acting, she joined a homeschooling program in 2011. This program was at UST Angelicum College. She also started studying marketing at Enderun Colleges. However, she had to pause her studies because of her TV series Got to Believe. As of 2021, she still wanted to finish her college degree in marketing or communication arts.

2003–2011: Starting Out and First Big Roles
Kathryn began her acting journey in 2003. She played young Cielo in ABS-CBN's It Might Be You. In 2006, she got her first main role in the TV series Super Inggo. She played Maya, who was the main character's love interest.
After that, she appeared in various ABS-CBN shows. These included Krystala and Vietnam Rose. She then joined the children's comedy show Goin' Bulilit.
As a child actress, Kathryn played young Victoria in ABS-CBN's Magkaribal. She also played young Jenny in GMA's Endless Love. Both of these shows started on June 28, 2010.
Her biggest break came when she got the main role of Mara David. This was in the remake of the 1992 drama series Mara Clara. The show was a huge success. It helped her become known as a rising actress. After Mara Clara, Kathryn starred in the teen show Growing Up. She played Ella, a 15-year-old girl living with her single mom.

Personal Life
In 2018, Kathryn confirmed her long-term relationship with actor Daniel Padilla. Their relationship began on May 25, 2012. On November 30, 2023, they announced that their relationship had ended.
Since April 2024, Kathryn has owned a house in Antipolo.
Business Ventures
In 2017, Kathryn started her nail salon business. It is called KathNails by KCMB. It has eight branches across the Philippines. In 2022, she opened another nail salon, The Glow Up Lounge. This business has five branches nationwide.
She also helped start a boutique hotel called Isla Amara. It is located in El Nido, Palawan. She co-owns it with actor Piolo Pascual and other partners.
