Jack Davis Griffo (born December 11, 1996) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Max Thunderman on the popular Nickelodeon TV show The Thundermans, which aired from 2013 to 2018. Jack also appeared in the movie The Thundermans Return, where he played Max again. He has also starred in other Nickelodeon movies like Jinxed and Splitting Adam. You might also know him from the Netflix series Alexa & Katie.

Early Roles and TV Shows

Jack Griffo started his acting career in 2011. He first appeared as an extra in TV shows like Kickin' It and Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures. After that, he had guest roles in other TV series, including See Dad Run and Jessie.

Becoming Max Thunderman

From 2013 to 2018, Jack Griffo had a main role in the Nickelodeon series The Thundermans. He played Max Thunderman, a twin brother who wanted to be a supervillain. His twin sister, Phoebe, was played by Kira Kosarin. In 2013, Jack also starred with Ciara Bravo in the Nickelodeon movie Jinxed.

More Movies and Guest Appearances

In February 2015, Jack Griffo starred in another Nickelodeon movie called Splitting Adam. He acted alongside Isabela Moner, Tony Cavalero, and Jace Norman in this film. Later that year, he played Billy in the Syfy movie Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, which came out on July 22, 2015. In 2016, Jack was a guest star in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, playing a military cadet named McKenna.

In 2017, Jack played Sebastian in the movie Apple of My Eye. He also joined the cast of the Netflix show Alexa & Katie as Dylan. He appeared in episodes of School of Rock, Knight Squad, and SEAL Team. In 2020, Jack starred as Sean Davis in the action movie The 2nd with Ryan Phillippe. He also had a small part in the movie The Christmas High Note.

Jack Griffo continued his role as Max Thunderman in the movie The Thundermans Return, which was released in 2024. He is also an executive producer for The Thundermans: Undercover, where he plays Max Thunderman again. This project was released in 2025.

Jack Griffo also has a YouTube channel where he shares music covers. He released a song called "Hold Me" with his friend Kelsey on October 17, 2011. The music video for "Hold Me" came out on October 29, 2011. He also released his first solo song, "Slingshot," on November 13, 2013, which featured Douglas James. The music video for "Slingshot" was released on his YouTube channel on January 14, 2014.
