Knight Squad is a fun American TV show that aired on Nickelodeon. It's a comedy series created by Sean Cunningham and Marc Dworkin. The show ran from February 19, 2018, to April 20, 2019. It stars Owen Joyner, Daniella Perkins, Lilimar, Lexi DiBenedetto, Amarr M. Wooten, Savannah May, and Kelly Perine.

What is Knight Squad About?

The story takes place in the magical kingdom of Astoria. Here, there's a special school where students train to become knights. Two very different students, Arc and Ciara, become friends. They make a secret pact to help each other achieve their dreams of becoming knights.

Arc and Ciara train with their friends Prudence and Warwick. They also deal with their rivals, Sage and Buttercup. Everyone wants to become a knight to protect Astoria from dangers. One big threat is the former king, Ryker, and his army.

Meet the Characters

Main Characters

• Owen Joyner as Arc: He's a wanderer from Seagate. Arc cheats his way into the knight school. He joins the Phoenix Squad. His goal is to free his home, Seagate, from Ryker's control.
• Daniella Perkins as Ciara: She's secretly the princess of Astoria! Ciara uses a magic ring from pixies to disguise herself. This way, she can attend knight school and be part of the Phoenix Squad.
• Lilimar as Sage: Sage is a student at the school and Ciara's rival. She's a member of the Kraken Squad. Sage wants to be a knight because she couldn't help when the Queen was taken by tree goblins.
• Lexi DiBenedetto as Prudence: She's a student who is "one-quarter giant." Prudence is in the Phoenix Squad with Arc, Ciara, and Warwick. She later learns Arc and Ciara's big secrets.
• Amarr M. Wooten as Warwick: Warwick is also in the Phoenix Squad. He's thought to be the worst knight student. But he later finds out he has magic powers! He's Fizzwick's older brother.
• Savannah May as Buttercup: She's a sweet and happy student. Buttercup is Sage's sidekick and also a member of the Kraken Squad.
• Kelly Perine as Sir Gareth: He's a knight with an eye patch and a metal arm. Sir Gareth is a teacher at the knight school.

Other Characters

• Jason Sim-Prewitt as The King: He is Astoria's ruler and Ciara's very protective father.
• Seth Carr as Fizzwick: Warwick's younger brother. He does odd jobs around the knight school.
• Fred Grandy as Wizard Hogancross: The most powerful wizard in the land. He works for the King. He created the force field that keeps Ryker out of Astoria.
• Todd Tucker voices Slobwick: A furry creature who is Fizzwick's pet.

How the Show Was Made

Nickelodeon ordered 20 episodes of Knight Squad in May 2017. Making the show started in October 2017. It first aired in February 2018. The show was so popular that it was renewed for a second season! That season had 10 episodes.
