Robbie's Journey in TV
Robbie Countryman started his career working behind the scenes. He began as a stage manager for the TV show Growing Pains. A stage manager makes sure everything runs smoothly on the set. They help with props, sets, and make sure actors are in the right place at the right time.
From Stage Manager to Assistant Director
After Growing Pains, Robbie worked as a stage manager on other popular shows. These included Martin, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and So Little Time.
While working on Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, he also became an assistant director. An assistant director helps the main director with many tasks. They help plan the filming schedule and make sure everyone knows what they need to do. Robbie was an assistant director for shows like Suddenly Susan, The Unit, and Melissa & Joey.
Becoming a Director
