Wizards of Waverly Place is a fun Disney Channel TV show that first aired in 2007. It's all about the Russo family, who live in New York City and have a big secret: they are wizards!
The show follows the three Russo children: Alex, Justin, and Max. They are all learning to use magic, but there's a catch. Only one of them will get to keep their powers forever. Their dad, Jerry Russo, used to be a wizard, but he gave up his powers to marry their mom, Theresa Russo, who is not a wizard. Alex's best friend, Harper Finkle, is also a big part of their adventures.
