Jennifer Stone (born February 12, 1993) is an American nurse and former actress. She became well-known for playing Harper Finkle on the Disney Channel TV show Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2012.
Jennifer also appeared in movies like Secondhand Lions (2003) and Mean Girls 2 (2011). After acting for many years, she decided to take a break to study nursing. She later returned briefly to acting, even co-writing and starring in the movie The In-Between (2019). She stopped acting in 2019 after finishing nursing school.

Jennifer Stone was born on February 12, 1993, in Tarrant County, Texas. She went to Glendale Community College and earned a degree in nursing. Later, she got another nursing degree from Azusa Pacific University.
She chose to study nursing to better understand her own health condition, type 1 diabetes. This decision led her to step away from acting in 2013.
Jennifer Stone's Acting Career

Jennifer Stone's first big role was as Martha in the movie Secondhand Lions. For this role, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award. She also got a Young Artist Award nomination for her guest role on the TV show House. She also appeared on other shows like Line of Fire and Without a Trace.
In 2007, Jennifer joined the main cast of Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place. She played Harper Finkle, the best friend of the main character, Alex Russo.
In 2009, she voiced a character named Debbie in the Disney Channel Original Movie Dadnapped. She also lent her voice to the cartoon Phineas and Ferb, playing Amanda, who is Candace's daughter in the future. In 2010, she starred as Harriet in the movie Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars. She later appeared in the film Nothing Left to Fear and the TV movie High School Possession.

Jennifer Stone is a registered nurse. In 2018, she talked on a podcast called Diabetes Connections about how her diabetes diagnosis has affected her life.
In 2019, Jennifer spoke to important leaders in the government for the JDRF, sharing her experiences living with diabetes. She finished nursing school in December 2019, just as news about the COVID-19 pandemic was spreading. She told interviewers that she would be "joining the front lines" to help fight the disease.
By 2021, Jennifer often shared updates on Instagram about her work in the hospital. In August 2022, she was working in the emergency room at a hospital in Burbank, California. Also in 2022, she became a spokesperson for Medtronic's insulin pen product, which helps people with diabetes.
