Story of the Kings
The show tells the story of brothers Brady (Mitchel Musso) and Boomer (Doc Shaw). They are teenage twins who grew up in Chicago with their aunt and uncle. They lived a normal life.
One day, Mason (Geno Segers) arrived at their high school. Mason was the royal adviser from the island of Kinkow. He told them they were the rightful rulers of the island.
Seventeen years earlier, the boys' mother, Annabelle, was an archeologist. She came to Kinkow and married King Kunu, their father. This made her part of the royal family. Kaita the Bat-Rider, leader of the Tarantula People, killed Annabelle and Kunu during a war.
The brothers moved to the fictional island of Kinkow. They became the co-kings of this island nation. Kinkow has many strange customs and superstitions. The boys often caused problems while trying to rule.
The oldest twin was supposed to rule alone. But all records of which twin was older were lost. So, Brady and Boomer had to rule together. In one episode, they almost found out who was older. But the scroll with the answer fell into a volcano.
Boomer and Brady often got help from Mason's daughter, Mikayla (Kelsey Chow). But they were often bothered by Lanny (Ryan Ochoa). Lanny was their unhappy cousin. He wanted to get rid of the boys and take the throne for himself. He was supposed to be the heir before Brady and Boomer were found.
New King, New Adventures
In the third season, Brady overheard Mikayla saying he was too immature to date her. Brady left a note for Boomer. He said he was going back to Chicago until he was mature enough for Mikayla.
Boomer tried to bring Brady back in a hot air balloon. A big storm hit the island. Mason, Mikayla, and the villagers tried to get Boomer to safety. Lanny tried to get Boomer killed in the storm.
The storm passed, and a crashed boat was found. Several people came out, including King Boz (Adam Hicks) of Mindu. Their island was destroyed by the storm. They crash-landed on Kinkow.
The people of Kinkow discovered that King Boz had a Kinkow-shaped birthmark. It turned out that Boomer and Brady were not just twins, but triplets! Boz was lost as a child and raised by apes. Later, the king and queen of Mindu found him and raised him as their son.
In the final episode, Boz accidentally brought Kaita back to life. Kaita fought against the kings. Kaita was destroyed in the island's volcano by the power of the King rings. These rings were powered by special tribe gems.
