Just Jordan was a funny TV show from the United States that aired on Nickelodeon. It was a sitcom, which means it was a comedy show with a regular group of characters and a new story each week. The show was part of Nickelodeon's TEENick lineup, which featured shows popular with teens.

The series first aired on January 7, 2007, and ended on April 5, 2008. There were 29 episodes made in total. After the show finished, reruns were shown on Nickelodeon and The N until late 2008. BET also aired reruns for a while. Years later, a few episodes even popped up on MTV2 in 2016.

Meet the Characters

The show follows the adventures of Jordan Lewis, a teenager who moves from Little Rock, Arkansas to Los Angeles. He has to work at his grandpa's diner and live with his family. Let's meet the main characters:

Jordan Lewis: The Main Character

  • Jordan James Lewis (played by Lil' JJ) is a 16-year-old who is the main character of the show. Jordan often speaks his mind without thinking first. His parents are divorced, and he moved with his mom and sister to Los Angeles to live with their grandfather. His best friends are Joaquin Montez and Tony Lee. Jordan loves playing basketball and works at his grandpa's diner. In the first season, he dated Tamika, but they broke up. Later, his new girlfriend became Autumn Williams.

Jordan's Best Friends

  • Joaquin Osmando Montez (played by Eddy Martin) is one of Jordan's best friends. He dreams of a career in politics, just like most of his family. Joaquin tries hard not to make mistakes because he worries about his "permanent record." He hopes Jordan and his other friends can help him be more social.
  • Tony Lee (played by Justin Chon) is Jordan's other best friend, and sometimes his rival. They first met as rivals on the basketball court. But when Tony started working at Grandpa's restaurant, they became close friends. Tony and Jordan often compete for girls, especially Autumn, who Jordan likes.

Jordan's Family

  • Tangie Cunningham (played by Raven Goodwin) is Jordan and Monica's cousin. She is often Jordan's toughest critic and worries about his image in Los Angeles. Tangie is really interested in Tony and hopes to become as famous and wealthy as Oprah Winfrey. She has a big crush on Tony throughout the show.
  • Monica Lewis (played by Kristen Combs) is Jordan's 9-year-old sister. She seems to know everything Jordan is doing! Jordan doesn't mind her much and often wants to help her. She has two dolls that look like her, named "Ponica" and "Shonica." Monica loves watching TV and eating chips. Her nickname is Mo-Mo.
  • Pamela Cunningham-Lewis (played by Shania Accius) is Jordan and Monica's mother. Jordan jokes that she "has eyes in the back of her head" because she's so aware of what he's doing. She moved her family back to Los Angeles to live in her father's house and restaurant. She is very protective of Jordan.
  • Grant Cunningham (played by Beau Billingslea) is Jordan, Tangie, and Monica’s grandfather, and Pamela's father. He has owned the local diner for a very long time. He expects everyone, especially Tangie and Jordan, to be disciplined and orderly. Many people say he makes the best macaroni and cheese in Los Angeles. He often spoils Monica and will buy her anything she wants.

Other Important Characters

  • Tamika Newsome (played by Chelsea Harris) (season 1) was Tangie's best friend and Jordan's first crush. She liked Jordan when he acted tough, but then realized she didn't really like "bad boys." They dated for a while but then broke up. Tamika was a nice girl, but she wasn't as interested in Jordan as he was in her. She moved away and doesn't appear in the second season.
  • Autumn Williams (played by Chelsea Tavares) (season 2) is the new girl in town. She just moved to the neighborhood with her family. Autumn is sweet and down-to-earth, and she's also a supermodel! Jordan and Autumn enjoy spending time together and quickly become good friends. Over time, their friendship grows into a romantic relationship.

Just Jordan aired for two seasons, with a total of 29 episodes.

Season 2 (2007–08)
