Chelsea Harris started her acting career in 2007. She has appeared in many popular TV shows and movies. One of her early main roles was as Tamika Newsome in the TV series Just Jordan.

Becoming a Star: Key Roles

Chelsea had a recurring role as Tricia Sims in the TV show Designated Survivor. This show is about a U.S. government official who suddenly becomes president. After this, she got a part in Star Trek: Picard. She admitted that she wasn't a big Star Trek fan when she was younger, preferring to watch the Disney Channel. However, being cast in Star Trek helped her discover a love for science fiction.

This new interest led her to another big role. She joined the cast of Snowpiercer in its second season. In Snowpiercer, she played the character Sykes. She was a recurring cast member in Season 2 and then became a main cast member for Seasons 3 and 4. This show is set on a giant train that travels around a frozen Earth.
