Dawid Piotr Kwiatkowski, born on January 1, 1996, is a popular Polish singer, songwriter, and television star. He started his music journey in a band called Two of Us.
Dawid has released seven solo albums, including 9893 (2013) and Pop & Roll (2014). Two of his albums reached the top of the music charts in Poland. He has also earned one platinum record and two gold records for his album sales, showing how popular his music is!
He has won many cool awards, like the MTV European Music Award for best European performer. He also won it twice for best Polish performer. Plus, he has four Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, a Bursztynowy Słowik Award, and a Telekamery Award. Dawid has appeared on many TV shows as a participant, judge, or guest. Dawid was born on January 1, 1996, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. He has two brothers, Mateusz and Michał, who is also a singer.
Dawid went to high school in Gorzów Wielkopolski. He later tried to finish his education online, but his busy music tours made it hard to take the final exams.
Dawid's Music Career
Early Career and First Albums (2013–2014)
Dawid's first song, "Biegnijmy" (which means 'Let's Run'), came out on July 19, 2013. Later that year, he won two awards at the Glam Awards 2013: "Fashionable debut on eska.pl" and "Discovery of the year."
His first album, 9893, was released on November 19, 2013. It quickly became the number one best-selling album in Poland! On May 28, 2014, Dawid released an acoustic version of his first album called 9893 Akustycznie. This album featured his songs with new, softer acoustic sounds.
His second studio album, Pop & Roll, was released on November 19, 2014. In spring 2014, Dawid also joined the TV show Dancing with the Stars: Taniec z gwiazdami in Poland. He danced with Janja Lesar and they finished in third place!
New Albums (2015–2016)
In November 2015, Dawid released "Droga" as the first song from his third album. This album, Element trzeci, came out on December 2, 2015. It reached number four on the Polish Albums Chart.
In November 2016, "Say Yes" was released as the first song from his fourth album. His fourth album, Countdown, came out on December 16, 2016. It also reached number four on the Polish Albums Chart.
Recent Albums (2018–2021)
Dawid continued to release new music. "Jesteś" was the first song from his fifth album, released on January 10, 2018. Other songs like "Sam 1.0," "Kochaj mnie," and "Mordo" followed. His fifth album, 13 grzechów niczyich, was released on May 31, 2019. It reached number two on the Polish Albums Chart.
On October 29, 2021, Dawid released a self-titled album, Dawid Kwiatkowski.
