Breanna Nicole Yde (born June 11, 2003) is a talented American actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. Breanna played Frankie Hathaway in The Haunted Hathaways. She also starred as Tomika in the School of Rock TV series. You might also know her as Zoey from the movie Santa Hunters. Later, she played Akimi in Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. More recently, she was Gina in the Netflix series Malibu Rescue.

Early Life and Moving Around

Breanna Yde was born in Sydney, Australia. When she was just two years old, her family moved to Los Angeles, California. She is a citizen of both the United States and Australia. In 2008, her family moved again to Rancho Santa Fe, California.

When she was six, Breanna started taking acting and music lessons. This was in 2009. To help her acting career grow, she and her family moved back to Los Angeles in 2012.

Her Acting Journey

Breanna got an early start in acting. In 2009, she had a role in the film Level 26: Dark Prophecy. She also appeared in an episode of How I Met Your Mother in 2011. Before her big TV roles, she was in commercials for companies like McDonald's and Toyota.

In 2012, Breanna got a main role as Frankie Hathaway. This was for the Nickelodeon show The Haunted Hathaways. She also appeared in the Nickelodeon TV movie Santa Hunters in 2014.

Her big break came in 2016 when she started playing Tomika. This was in School of Rock, another Nickelodeon series. The show was based on the 2003 movie of the same name. For her role as Tomika, she was nominated for a Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Female TV Star in 2017. School of Rock ran for three seasons and ended in 2018.

While working on School of Rock, Breanna also did voice acting. She was the voice of Ronnie Anne in the animated series The Loud House. She also appeared in the Nickelodeon TV movie Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. In 2017, she voiced Young Mariah in the animated film Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You.

In 2019, Breanna starred as Gina in the Netflix film Malibu Rescue. She continued this role in the TV series of the same name. She also played Gina in a second movie, Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave, released in 2020.

Her Music Career as YDE

In 2019, Breanna started working on music. She teamed up with songwriter Justin Tranter. In 2020, she released her first songs, "Stopped Buying Diamonds" and "BlindLife". She released these songs under the name YDE.

In December 2021, she performed in a musical called WILD: A Musical Becoming. She played Sophia alongside Idina Menzel. In 2022, YDE began releasing new songs from her first EP, which is like a mini-album. It's called SEND HELP. She was the main songwriter and producer for this EP. SEND HELP was released on September 9, 2022.
