Alfie Deyes (born September 17, 1993) is a popular English YouTuber, vlogger, and businessman. He became well-known for his videos and later for his books. In 2014, he released his first book, The Pointless Book. He has since written three books in this series and one book about his own life.

Early Life and Education
Alfie Deyes was born in Enfield, England. When he was four years old, his family moved to Brighton, East Sussex. He went to Varndean School and then Varndean College in Brighton.
His YouTube Journey
Alfie started his YouTube channel, PointlessBlog, in 2009. This is where he shares videos about his life and different challenges.
In 2013, Alfie joined a group of YouTubers in a series called The Crew. It was like a talk show for young men.
World Records and Challenges
Alfie was part of the "Guinness World Records OMG!" channel in 2013. He even held some world records!
- He helped set the record for "Most bangles put on in 30 seconds by a team of two."
- He also held the record for "Most party poppers popped in 30 seconds" with 29 pops.
- Another record he held was filling the most pancakes in one minute. He filled 7 pancakes with chocolate sauce and bananas.
Learning from Mistakes
In 2018, Alfie made a video called "Living on £1 for 24 hours." In this video, he tried to spend only £1 for a whole day. Some viewers felt that the video did not show respect for people facing real financial struggles.
Alfie listened to the feedback and quickly apologized for the video. He explained that he did not mean to cause any offense. He then removed the video from YouTube and gave all the money earned from it to charity. This showed that he learned from the experience and wanted to make things right.
Books by Alfie Deyes
Alfie signed a book deal in 2014. His first book, The Pointless Book, came out that September. This book is a mix of a journal and an activity book. It also came with a free app and ways to connect with social media. Many pages in the book are blank, asking readers to draw or write whatever they want.
He released a second book, The Pointless Book 2, in March 2015. It had similar fun activities. This book became a bestseller very quickly.
In March 2016, Alfie released a different kind of book called The Scrapbook Of My Life. This book was about his own life story. In 2017, he released the third and final book in the series, The Pointless Book 3.
Music Projects
Alfie Deyes also used his fame to help others through music.
- In 2014, he was part of Band Aid 30. This was a special group of singers who recorded the song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" to raise money for people affected by the Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa.
- He was also part of the 'YouTube Boyband' that raised money for Comic Relief, a big charity event in the UK.
Alfie's Personal Life
Alfie has been in a relationship with fellow YouTube star Zoe Sugg, also known as Zoella, since October 2012. They are a very well-known couple on YouTube.
In 2013, Alfie lived in London with another YouTuber, Caspar Lee. Later that year, he moved back to Brighton. In October 2014, he moved into a house with Zoe Sugg. They bought a bigger house in 2015 and moved into it in 2017 after it was renovated. Alfie and Zoe got engaged in September 2023. They have two daughters, one born in August 2021 and another in December 2023.
