Cedric Kelvin Coleman, known professionally as Frayser Boy, is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, in the United States. He became famous for his music and unique style.
Frayser Boy used to work with Hypnotize Minds, a record label created by Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J. He released three studio albums with this label. These albums were Gone on That Bay (released in 2003), Me Being Me (released in 2005), and Da Key (released in 2008).
At the 78th Academy Awards, Frayser Boy won a very special award. He received the Academy Award for Best Original Song along with Three 6 Mafia members Juicy J, Crunchy Black, and DJ Paul. This was a big achievement for him and his group.
In 2014, Frayser Boy released a project he worked on for ten years. It was a team-up album with another rapper named Lil Wyte, called B.A.R. (Bay Area Representatives). In the same year, he also released his fourth solo album, Not No Moe. Both of these albums came out through Phixieous Entertainment.
Frayser Boy has also appeared in films. In 2014, he was featured in a documentary movie called Take Me to the River. Other artists like Terrence Howard and Snoop Dogg were also in it. Later, in 2018, he acted in a drama film titled Dig That, Zeebo Newton, which was directed by Muck Sticky. He is currently working on his fifth solo album, which will be a follow-up to his first album. It is called Gone on That Bay 2.
