Patrick Earl Houston (born February 8, 1973), known as Project Pat, is an American rapper. He is from Tennessee. He is the older brother of Juicy J. Juicy J helped start the group Three 6 Mafia.
Project Pat was also part of the hip-hop group the Kaze. He joined them in 1998. Their first album, Kamakazie Timez Up, came out that same year.

Project Pat's Music Journey
Starting in Music
Project Pat started his music career in the early 1990s. He appeared on his brother Juicy J's early songs. These were made with DJ Paul.
After some time away from recording, he returned in 1999. He released his first solo album, Ghetty Green. This album came out on his brother's label, Hypnotize Minds. He then became a member of Juicy J and DJ Paul's group, Three 6 Mafia. He became widely known in 2000. This was when he sang the hook for their hit song "Sippin' on Some Syrup".
Albums: Mista Don't Play and Layin' Da Smack Down
Project Pat released his second album on February 13, 2001. It was called Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin. Two songs from this album, "Chickenhead" and "Don't Save Her", became popular on the radio. Their music videos were also shown on BET and MTV.
After Mista Don't Play came out, Project Pat took a break from music. His third album, Layin' Da Smack Down, was released in 2002. A music video was made for the song "Make Dat Azz Clap".
Returning to Music with Crook by da Book
Project Pat returned to music in 2005. He released the album Crook by da Book: The Fed Story. This album reached number 64 on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold about 40,000 copies in its first week. The first song from this album was "Good Googly Moogly". It featured DJ Paul and Juicy J.
More Albums: Walkin' Bank Roll and Real Recognize Real
Project Pat later signed with Koch Records, now called E1 Music. His fifth album, Walkin' Bank Roll, came out in 2007. It reached number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart. The main song from this album was "Don't Call Me No Mo'". It featured Three 6 Mafia.
His sixth album, Real Recognize Real, was released by Asylum Records. This album included the popular song "Keep It Hood". It featured OJ da Juiceman. The album reached number 8 on the Top Rap Albums Chart. It sold about 10,000 copies in its first week. On July 19, 2011, Project Pat released his seventh album, Loud Pack. This was released on Hypnotize Minds and his own new label, Project.
Newer Music and Collaborations
On March 28, 2013, Project Pat announced his next album. It would be called Mista Don't Play 2. This album was released by E1 Music. The first song was "Be A G". It featured Juicy J and the late Doe B. Juicy J also produced half of the album. The album was released on April 14, 2015.
On August 15, 2016, Project Pat was featured on the song "Visa". This song was on the Mattrix Mixtape: We're Going Worldwide, Vol 5. He also announced a mixtape called M.O.B.. It was released on September 8, 2017.
In 2021, Project Pat was featured on the song "Knife Talk". This song was on Drake's album Certified Lover Boy. "Knife Talk" reached number 4 on the Billboard Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In 2023, Project Pat worked with Juicy J on a joint album. It was called THEM GOATS.
In 2024, Project Pat was featured on the song "Sked". This song also included Denzel Curry and Kenny Mason. He was also featured on Christian rapper Dee-1’s song “All Glory to God”.
Project Pat's Personal Life
Project Pat often visits prisons. He gives talks to inspire people there. He also started the Go Foundation. This is a group in Collierville, Tennessee. It helps people through prison ministry.
