Patrick Earl Houston (born February 8, 1973), known as Project Pat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is the older brother of Juicy J, who helped start the group Three 6 Mafia.
Houston was part of the hip-hop group the Kaze. He joined them in 1998, the same year their first album Kamakazie Timez Up was released.

Project Pat's Music Journey
Early Music and First Album
Project Pat released his first solo album, Ghetty Green, in 1999. It came out on his brother Juicy J's label, Hypnotize Minds. He became a member of Juicy J and DJ Paul's group Three 6 Mafia. He first became widely known when he sang the main part for their popular song "Sippin' on Some Syrup" in 2000.
Popular Albums in the Early 2000s
Houston released his second studio album, Mista Don't Play: Everythangs Workin, on February 13, 2001. Songs from this album, like "...head" and "Don't Save Her", were played a lot on national radio. Their music videos also appeared on TV channels like BET and MTV.
Houston's third album, Layin' Da Smack Down, came out in 2002. A music video was made for the song "Make Dat ... Clap".
Music Releases in the Mid-2000s
In 2005, Houston released Crook by da Book: The Story. This album reached number 64 on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold about 40,000 copies in its first week. The first song from the album was "Good Googly Moogly", which featured DJ Paul and Juicy J.
Albums from 2007 to 2011
After his contract with Columbia ended, Houston signed with Koch, now called E1. His fifth studio album, Walkin' Bank Roll, was released in 2007. It started at number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart. The main song from this album was "Don't Call Me No Mo'", featuring Three 6 Mafia.
His sixth studio album, Real Recognize Real, was his first big release for the label Asylum Records. This album included the popular song "Keep It Hood" featuring OJ da Juiceman. It reached number 8 on the Top Rap Albums Chart, selling about 10,000 copies in its first week. On July 19, 2011, Houston released his seventh studio album, Loud Pack. This album was released on Hypnotize Minds and his own new label, Project.
Recent Music and Collaborations
On March 28, 2013, Houston shared that his next album would be called Mista Don't Play 2. This album was released by E1 Music. The first song was "Be A ...", and it featured Juicy J and the late Doe B. Juicy J also produced half of the album. The album came out on April 14, 2015.
On August 15, 2016, Houston was featured on the J. Sims song "Visa". This song was part of the Mattrix Mixtape: We're Going Worldwide, Vol 5 collection. He also announced a mixtape called M.O.B., which was released on September 8, 2017.
In 2021, Project Pat was featured on the song "... Talk" from Drake's album Certified Lover Boy. This song reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
In 2023, Pat worked with Juicy J on a joint album called THEM GOATS.
In 2024, Pat was featured on the song "Sked" with Denzel Curry and Kenny Mason. He also appeared on Christian rapper Dee-1's song "All Glory to God".
In 2025, Pat was featured on the song "Never Going Back" by nobigdyl. and Kato on The Track, from the album Soul Bros.
Project Pat's Personal Life
Houston often visits prisons to give motivational speeches. He started the Go Foundation, which is a Collierville, Tennessee-based nonprofit organization. This group focuses on helping people through prison ministry.
