Grand Hustle Records, also known as Hustle Gang Music, is an American hip hop record label. It was started in 2003 by the famous rapper T.I. and his manager, Jason Geter. For many years, the label worked with Atlantic Records, but now it releases music on its own.
Grand Hustle has been the music home for many popular artists. Some of them include 8Ball & MJG, B.o.B, Killer Mike, Young Dro, DJ Drama, Iggy Azalea, Travis Scott, and Trae tha Truth. The label also has a team of talented record producers who create the beats for the songs.
The label has released over 30 albums, and many of them have become very successful. Fourteen albums have been certified gold or platinum, which means they sold over 500,000 copies. Seven of their albums reached the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 chart. Grand Hustle is also known for its hit singles that have been played all over the world, like "Whatever You Like", "Live Your Life", and "Sicko Mode".

History
How It All Started (2003–2011)
After his first album didn't sell well, T.I. decided to start his own record label, Grand Hustle. He began releasing popular mixtapes with DJ Drama, which helped him gain a lot of attention. In 2003, he signed a deal with Atlantic Records and released his second album, Trap Muzik. It was a huge success and sold over a million copies.
In 2005, the label grew by signing more artists. They signed the rapper Alfamega and the soul singer Governor. Grand Hustle also released the soundtrack for the movie Hustle & Flow. One of the songs from the soundtrack even won an Academy Award.
The label continued to find new talent. In 2006, rapper Young Dro joined and released the hit single "Shoulder Lean". The song was so popular that its ringtone sold over 500,000 times. In 2008, T.I. signed Atlanta musician B.o.B and the famous Southern hip hop group 8Ball & MJG. That same year, Killer Mike also joined the Grand Hustle family.
Between 2008 and 2010, the label faced some challenges. T.I. had to take a break from his career for a while. During this time, some artists, like Alfamega and Meek Mill, left the label. Despite these difficulties, T.I. released his album No Mercy in 2010, which also sold over 500,000 copies.
The Hustle Gang Era (2011–2016)
In 2012, T.I. announced that he had signed three new rappers: Iggy Azalea from Australia, Chip from the UK, and Trae tha Truth from Houston. This showed that Grand Hustle was signing artists from all over the world. T.I. helped produce Iggy Azalea's first big project, an EP called Glory.
The group of artists at Grand Hustle started calling themselves "Hustle Gang." They even appeared together on the BET Hip Hop Awards cypher, where rappers show off their skills. In 2013, the label released a mixtape called G.D.O.D. which featured many of the label's artists.
During this time, T.I.'s contract with Atlantic Records ended. Many other major labels wanted to sign him and Grand Hustle. He also signed new talents like producer Travis Scott and songwriter Kris Stephens.
In late 2013, the Grand Hustle family experienced a sad loss when artist Doe B passed away unexpectedly. The label honored him by releasing some of his music after his death.
In 2014, the label released a second mixtape, G.D.O.D. II, which featured artists like Young Thug and Trey Songz. In 2015, Travis Scott released his first album, Rodeo, on the label. It included the hit song "Antidote", which became a huge success.
New Music and Tours (2017–Present)
By 2017, Grand Hustle had added more new artists to its team, including Tokyo Jetz, RaRa, and London Jae. The whole "Hustle Gang" went on a 36-city tour across the United States to perform for their fans.
The label released a group album called We Want Smoke in October 2017. It featured songs from T.I., Young Dro, Trae tha Truth, and the newer members of the team. The album showed that Grand Hustle was still a strong force in the music world.
Since then, artists on the label have continued to release their own projects. Travis Scott's 2018 album Astroworld became a massive hit, reaching number one on the charts and selling millions of copies. T.I. also released more albums, including Dime Trap in 2018 and The L.I.B.R.A. in 2020, proving that Grand Hustle is still making great music.
