Raynesford is a small, unincorporated community located in Judith Basin County, Montana, in the United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a place where people live together, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. It sits at an elevation of about 4,042 feet (1,232 meters) above sea level.

This friendly community has a few important places that help it run. You'll find a community center where people can gather, a Catholic church, a local fire department to keep everyone safe, and a post office for sending and receiving mail. The post office actually started with a different name, "Spion Kop," on March 31, 1906. But exactly three years later, on March 31, 1909, its name was officially changed to Raynesford.

If you're traveling near Raynesford, you'll notice U.S. Route 87 running along the southern edge of the community. Also, Montana Highway 217 begins right here, connecting to Stanford. A stream called Big Otter Creek also flows through the community.
